Installing the module beta on a relatively clean DNN 4.05.01 (only have core modules, and your skin object installed) generates the followin error when I click settings:

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.Exceptions.ProcessModuleLoadException(PortalModuleBase ctrlModule, Exception exc) at TimRolands.DNN.Modules.HouseMenu.HouseMenuOptions.LoadSettings() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Modules.ModuleSettingsPage.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

any ideas?

otherwise great work, I was not a fan of the solpart menu...

Yes, there are a few issues with the 1.4 beta, but there is a good discussion of how to fix them here: http://houseofnuke.com/tabid/411/forumid/1/view/topic/postid/7/afsort/ASC/Default.aspx.

It comes down to the styles that should be installed but apparently are not getting installed.
