Is there a way to set the selected item style? I see it on your example siste (WriterGear) but can't seem to figure this out.

Ah, I see. You don't define the style class a a property - you just name your css ".current". Great menu, but I wish the documentation and examples were available. this hunting and pecking is no fun.
