I am trying to change the menu Mode from Static to Dynamic. I am using the HouseMenuSkinObject v.1.04.

I have edited the skin.xml file and changed the Mode property to "D" in the [HOUSEMENU] Token.

However, it seems like the change isn't having any affect, the menu is still static. Am I missing something, or not editing the right file? Thanks.

I just had the same problem last week. I solved it by using version 2 with the ascx and css files provided with this version. I guess there're more intelligent ways to solve it but this one is working...

Oren, thanks for your reply, I will try this. Did you just unzip and overwrite the files on your web host? Or did you do a complete install of the v2 module?

first you need to install the two dll's as indicated in the download section of this site. Then I zipped the three files under skins/HouseMenu2 and loaded it as new skin to my site.

Thanks, but I found my problem. It was in the index.ascx file, where it creates the HOUSEMENU object. The value was hardcoded there.
