It only shows the same level items, which is what I wanted to achieve, as I have a separate root level menu at the top of the page. This is what I tried: scope="<%#PortalSettings.ActiveTab.BreadCrumbs(PortalSettings.ActiveTab.Level - 1).TabID%>" Tell me if it helps anyone. -renwarb
