My submenus worked great in IE6 in my HTML mockups using the li.sfhover tag and the suckerfish javascript. They work great for all other browsers in the DNN skin but no matter what I do, I cannot get the submenu drop downs to appear in IE6 in my skin.

I have tried putting the sample menu codes that come with the menu in my CSS but those don't work. We have one site that has the drop downs working in IE6. (That developer has since left the company.) I have copied and pasted that code directly into my CSS and made sure my XML file matched but that didn't work. Both sites are running off the same installation on different portals.

We have upgraded our DNN installation, but the one site that worked still works, so I'm not sure that the upgrade is a problem. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there a setting I don't know about?

Nevermind. I found that on the project where the submenus work in IE6, the developer added a scripts file that contained the suckerfish menu javascript. I added that to my skins and it works now.

But what's up with that? I see that the script is included with the HouseMenu files. Isn't it suppose to work with that script?

I looked at the source code of the page and one instance of the sfhover script is there but it is picking up the id of the control panel menu. We rewrote a custom control panel using the HouseMenu. I think that is what is causing the problem.

Well, adding the scripts file will work, now that I know it has to be there.
