Is there a way to make the HouseMenu start the navigation root at the same level as the currently selected ID? It would be pretty disappointing to find out the only to get this functionality would be to create a huge numbr of templates for each "Same" level ID's.

Thanks,

Jason

Hey,

Spend a lot of hours trying to find a work arround for this fundamental problem. Sorry to say i didn't found one. Tried to dynamicly change the scope in the ACPX files by getting the currentTabID and ParentTabID.

Only thing left i can think of is to create a new portal, for the part where you want the menu for. But this is very extreme and will probably mess up other parts of you website.

Thanks for trying R-J. After attempting similar things myself I ended up buying a similar CSS Menu Module from Snowcovered that had this additional functionality.

As great and as easy to use as HouseMenu is, I just can't see using it for any site that has complicated secondary child navigation.

Try the following:

scope="<%#PortalSettings.ActiveTab.BreadCrumbs(PortalSettings.ActiveTab.Level - 1).TabID%>"
