I am creating a site that uses two different skins: one for the home page, and a basic skin for all of the other pages. I put HouseMenu 1.4.1beta skin object in the both skins. The home page skin works beautifully. But when I try to look at any other page on that portal that uses the basic skin I get a "connection to the server reset" notification from the browser. This happens in both IE7 and Firefox, and I've tried different portals. I've also tried deleting and reinstalling the HouseMenu skin object, and doing a bare-bones skin that only had a content pane and the HouseMenu skin object in it. None of these attempts to isolate the problem has worked. The basic skin works fine if I remove the tag for the HouseMenu skin object. HouseMenu works great and is what I would really prefer to use, so if anyone can give me a suggestion on this, I would REALLY appreciate it.
Update 20-Feb-2008: So I tried using the module instead of the skin object and it works, except when I set the scope to All Pages. Then I get the same issue that I get with the skin object. And I really need the scope to be set to show all of the pages.
